Repair the Concrete
Fill cracks with epoxy or polyurea crack filler
Patch holes, pitting, or spalling areas
Grind or sand repaired areas smooth after curing
2. Surface Preparation (Critical Step)
Mechanically grind the concrete (preferred method) to create a proper surface profile
Alternatively, acid etch (less consistent and less durable)
Ensure the surface feels like medium-grit sandpaper (CSP-2 to CSP-3)
3. Apply Primer / Base Coat
Mix epoxy resin and hardener according to manufacturer specifications
Cut in edges with a brush
Roll the coating evenly across the floor in sections
Maintain a wet edge and work within the product’s pot life
4. Broadcast Decorative Flakes (Optional)
While the base coat is still wet, broadcast vinyl flakes
Coverage can be light, medium, or full broadcast depending on desired finish
Allow the floor to fully cure
5. Scrape and Clean (if flakes are used)
Scrape the surface to remove loose or excess flakes
Vacuum thoroughly to ensure a clean surface for topcoat
6. Apply Topcoat / Sealer
Apply a clear topcoat (epoxy, polyurethane, or polyaspartic)
Optionally add anti-slip aggregate
Ensure even coverage for durability and appearance
7. Cure and Return to Service
Light foot traffic: ~24 hours
Vehicle traffic: 48–72 hours (varies by system)

We have a several resinous polymer formulations of epoxy, polyurea, polyaspartic. This allows us to address various concrete, temperature, and humidity conditions as well as offer different aesthetic attributes in our decorative coatings systems.

It is the homeowner’s responsibility to remove all contents. We can provide a tent shelter at no-cost or you can store items uder a tarp. If you need help clearing the space we can recommend “helpers” through companies like Task Rabbit.

No, we use stand-alone electrical generators to power our equipment.

There is an odor depending on the solution applied but we will seal any entrances to the main house to reduce any infiltration into living spaces.

The grinding process does create dust but we use a dust capture system to minimize dust. We also will seal any entrences to the main living quarters to prevent dust infiltration.

We request 50% deposit upon contract execution. We accept cash and checks.

The floor installation takes two days. You can return your garage between 24-36 hours depending on weather conditions.
